Please notify us of guest’s names and any dietary requirements at the time of booking or at least 10 days prior to the event.
As alcohol is served, guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
We will send an email at least two weeks prior to the events telling you of the theme, dress code and information on ‘How To Play the Murder Game’.
Please add to your contacts to ensure that our emails do not get sent to Junk or Spam folders.
Information we may send you may include change of venue, start time, guests names, or clarification of dietary requirements. We cannot be held accountable for any information that you do not receive prior to the event due to our emails being sent to Junk or Spam folders. If you have not heard from us a week prior to the event, please check these locations and/or contact us on the above email address.
Bookings using a gift certificate must be made online via Trybooking and the A Murderous Affair website www.amurderousaffair.com.au. The certificate number must be entered in the Gift Certificate field on the payment page along with payment details at the time of making the initial booking. This notifies A Murderous Affair of the intention to use the gift certificate towards the booking.
Should the expiry date lapse, for $50 per person; an extension of one year can be made (this must be done prior to the expiry date) to a maximum of 36 months. Gift certificates include 30c Booking Fee. Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash. No credit or change will be given on the unused portion of the Certificate. Gift Certificates are not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed, photocopied or altered in any way and will not be accepted by A Murderous Affair or be otherwise redeemable. Terms are void where prohibited by law. Terms and Conditions of the Gift Certificate are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Venues are not licensed for guests to Bring Your Own (BYO).
Our cancellation policy is that a refund can be requested within 14 days of the purchase date, unless the purchase date is 14 days or less before the event. After the elapse of 14 days from the purchase date, no refunds will be granted. The refund will be processed back to the purchaser only.
Guests can contact us to reschedule the event date up to 30 days prior to the event date. They may reschedule once with no fee. Further rescheduling is at a fee of $25 per person. For tickets booked 14 days or less prior to the event, no rescheduling is available.
If you wish to change a guest’s name for the event, please advise us as soon as possible.
If you arrive early you may be asked to wait outside prior to the event. If the weather is cold or wet, please bring outerwear as sometimes we are unable to avoid this.
Each event has a particular plot and dress-theme, which will be revealed to you after booking. Many people choose to dress up although this is not compulsory.
You may wish to bring your reading glasses as there will be written evidence and information throughout the night.
Video and Photographs
A Murderous Affair may be taking photographs and/or videoing this event. Your image may be used in A Murderous Affair printed and electronic publications for promotional purposes, and may be made available to the media and other third parties, or published on the internet. If you have concerns about your image being used for the purposes, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
